In loving memory of Dad (Jerry).

So earlier today I came across my dad’s poem book, the one he captured my Mother’s unconditional love with. I was amazed! No wonder she fell in love with him. They were just beautiful, sweet and so I’m going to put a couple on here. These are from 1974 on and there are so many! They have both passed now, but this kind of love just never goes away.

September 1976

each and every time we part,

this silent prayer is in my heart

heavenly father up above please protect the one I love

keep her safe and sound for me

because our love was meant to be

while I am here and she is there

keep her in thy tender care

watch over her as I have done

for she has two hearts and I have none.
